These terms cover your use of Sandbox, the email and SMS testing service at tosandbox.com. By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the company or team the account belongs to.
What Sandbox does
Sandbox gives each account an SMTP login and an SMPP login. Email and SMS your apps send with those logins are caught and shown in your account’s inboxes. Sandbox never delivers them to real recipients.
Your account
- You’re responsible for everything sent with your account’s credentials and for the people you invite.
- Keep your SMTP and SMPP passwords private. Owners and admins can reset them at any time.
- Use Sandbox for testing. Don’t send real customers’ personal data to it unless you’re allowed to, and don’t use it for spam, malware or anything illegal.
Trial, plans and payment
Every account starts with a free 7-day trial with no card needed. After the trial, Sandbox keeps accepting messages, but new ones only show in your inboxes once the account is on a paid plan.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

Your data
The messages your apps send stay yours. We keep them so you can see them, and you can delete them at any time. Email inboxes keep the most recent 500 messages, and older ones are deleted automatically. See our privacy policy.
Availability
We work to keep Sandbox running, but it’s a testing tool provided as is, without a guarantee of uptime. Don’t rely on it for production traffic. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your account
You can stop using Sandbox at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we ever shut the service down, we’ll give you notice and refund any unused prepaid time.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll email account owners before it takes effect.
